The MAC team was appointed on behalf of @CEG to provide Quantity Surveying, Employer’s Agent and CDM Advisory services on a new 14,000 sq ft Travis Perkins warehouse in Worksop which involved the design and build of single storey industrial unit with associated external concrete yard and access road.
The site was previously home to the Vesuvius brickworks, but it sat derelict for more than a decade.
Travis Perkins is an integral part of the Vesuvius scheme – one of Worksop’s largest ever speculative employment developments, with an impressive design, scale and build quality.
The MAC team helped to ensure the project was completed in time and to budget.
The new warehouse is set to create 20 jobs in Worksop and supports D2N2 LEP’s ambitions to rebuild and grow the area’s economy.
